I solemnly swear this is not a post about anything cullen

Except for the title of course. ;P No, this is just a regular post but I'll make it short and all. Since I haven't even attempted a personal post in forever, it seemed the thing to do. Plus I was inspired to dodge work - nothing strange there.

Real life catching up type stuff )

gymnastics, brady, megan

It's nice to have someone on my f-list that is going through the same things as I am (kids, family dynamics, money, work, headaches...). I love my f-list, but most of them are a decade younger than me and we're just in different stages in life.

Of course, we all have fandom in common.

Thanks, and I agree. This blog is my normal escape from the daily grind, which is why I don't post about rl stuff that often. But every once in a while I get inspired to share and just like to remind people that I am actually a person and that what I go on and on about here is just what makes life a bit more tolerable.

I agree about my flist as well. I do have a few in the 30-ish range, but honestly, I'm think most of us are here for the same reasons. This is an addition to our hectic real lives and not so much of a play-by-play. In my case, my usual posts help me feel 10 years younger sometimes as well as give me a chance to converse with people about things I can't normally in rl. Escapism at it's finest. Plus I have made quite a few very fine friends online who have become rl friends (see j_mac179 below for one) over time. Which then gives me an outlet to be as nerdy as I wanna be then as well. Fandom is my hobbie, just as much as reading or whatever else, so it's good to be able to share that with people. ;D

Thanks Daddy! Although this post must have been terribly boring to you since we talked about just about everything else here not even a week ago - I'm glad to see I at least made a post you could comment on for a change. ;P

Momma!! I miss you terribly! We have sooooooo much to discuss its unbelievable! We have to set up phone time or chat time! The situation is getting desperate. *Ssssniff*

Do I have to start with the bribery?

Hmm....

I think I'll begin with the Edward Cullen Smut and work my way up......

FloHo! GOD I have missed you! And bribery is totally not necessary! I have been thinking the same thing! You name the time dear and I'm on AIM or we can chit-chat on the phone - I would love it.

I think I'll begin with the Edward Cullen Smut and work my way up......

Wait. What was that?!? Forget what I said. Bribery is DEFINITELY NECESARY! Don't tease me woman!!!

*huggles and smoochies*

I was actually just thinking about your Megan the other day & wondering how gymnastics was going. My Megan (:P) has started ballet, but we are trying to decide if we want to continue with the fall session or not. It's more expensive, so it's tough. She also starts Kindergarten next week! :0 AGH!

It's good you found a better place for Brady. Hopefully it will work out well.

And what you said about your friend is so nice! My BFF is in Tucson (about two hours away) and I hardly ever see or talk to her anymore, so it's nice to hear that even after all these years you two are still close. It's nice that you have eachother.

Thanks, the kids are doing great. Eek! Ballet can get really expensive with all of the shoes and tights and then recital outfits that they wear one time. That's kinda why we started gymnastics when Megan was 5. It was cheaper. When it's just recreational it's just like, one leotard and that's it. It wasn't until years in when multiple classes and her making team and started competing came around that things really got expensive. I know you must feel a bit torn to have her starting kindergarten. Even if she was in pre-school starting real kindergarten is a big step. Sometimes bigger for us than it is for them.

Give both your Megan and Jenna a nuzzle for me. Your icon is too precious! But your hiding those eyes! ;D

I don't know what I'd do if I lived away from Elizabeth like that. Even if we don't talk all the time it's that we know we are right there if we need anything you know? *hugs*
