I don't know about historical American figures, but when it comes to historical Canadian figures... Papineau was by far the sexiest, in my opinion. I tried to find a picture via google to use as an example, but all I could find were ones from when he was older and fatter. :( But when he was a young and rebellious (and creating history) he was a fox. There were hot pictures of him in the text book I had when I was in Social Studies 10, though... Too bad I don't have it now.
Seriously, Papineau was a hunk.
