Before I get started on your sorting may I say this: welcome to _belong. Now your application was actually one of the most interesting ones I've read because I actually think you are pretty much equally Slytherin and Hufflepuff (with a nice little streak of Ravenclaw in there). It was very hard to decide so I did a little side by side comparison to see which one came out on top.
Slytherin
4.i guess it shows that i am a very solitary person.I guess this is a bit of a stretch because not all Slytherins are solitary minded but I think it is a trait that is to some extent common to Slytherin house - that the true self is kept hidden.
5. usually think about what i say before i say it, and if i think that it might offend anyone, i either rephrase it to sound a lot gentler, or i won't say it at all. Just for this quote I had to place this answer in the "For Slytherin" section. It wasn't actually about you admiring Voldemort so much as the fact that you just had such a genuinely Slytherin tone to me, a tone that did not feel at all like

I'm gonna smack the Ravenclaw on this one, although I was definitely considering Slytherin for a while. But I decided to stick with the Ravens and I'll tell you why.
For all your bravado and cynicism, at the core is someone who has been harmed and doesn't want to be harmed again. I can totally relate to this, by the way. I know what it is to be scared of having friends all the time, worrying about what they think. I do this too. Like woah.
And if there's one thing that I know about that kind of thinking is that it's time-consuming. I get the sense that you live inside your head, or, as you have indicated, in your books.
That's why you're Ravenclaw. It might be nice to be surrounded by people who are book-lovers like you; you could make some great friends, friends who wouldn't judge you and that you could trust.
Anyway. Welcome to _belong. Anyone who sings the Spice Girls gets an A+++++ in my book.
You admire ambition greatly. I totally agree with you when you say: "they're all following the man! they should be fighting him for his place!" It's true! So many Slytherins in the books are followers and not leaders. But, I guess not all who are ambitious has what it takes to succeed on their own. You admire the strong people who have the guts and minds to go out and do what they want to accomplish, even if it is against the norm

Slytherin 5. he has a tonne of ambition, and is willing to do anything to get what he wants. and stupid people taking their talents and letting them go to waste These are such Slytherin statements to make, and it didn't feel like a push; ordinarily, when people push for Slytherin, they harp on the evil thing. You're noting actual Slytherin traits and admiring them.
9. You have an awareness of self-preservation and it is one of your foremost priorities.
19. wouldn't cheat. if i really cared that much about the class, i would have studied harder. besides. on tests that i have cheated on, i generally do worse, because i spend the rest of the exam worrying if i'll get caught cheating, and i don't spend as much time thinking over the questions. You're not going to waste your time trying something that you know won't work for you; ambition with a good bit of wisdom in there. So Slytherin
