Oh my goodness. I really enjoy your stories, especially since every single line makes me want to smile. This was adorable. And Bofur, always enthusiastic, going for that arse. And his family knowing him well enough to place their wages. Everything is so adorable and nothing hurts.
That's so sweet. I love how Bilbo kept pushing until Bofur caved in . . . and I loved how he did, how he got all flustered and admitted to absolutely un-dwarf-like things like writing sonnets ♥ Then of course the betting - and Gandalf finding them xD Watching the film, I found Bofur's smile absolutely adorable, so I was happy to read Bilbo thinking the same.
Dwarves write, I like to think, lovely sonnets and song and other verse-forms. Not as fancy as elven ones, but lively and powerful and rousing.
Bofur had to cave to get Bilbo, so cave, he did, in his own way :)
Gandalf would've been a bit surly, since he lost in the bet (he wagered on Bilbo and Thorin getting together, as had several other dwarves). So finding his lost bet humping in the grass would've made him especially prickly. I like to think he poked and jabbed at them with his staff till they stopped :D
I LOVED Bofur's smile! Those dimples, that insouciance (there's a word I never get to use). He has the most amazing smile.

And yes, Bilbo has a delightfully grab-able ass, and grab, Bofur does.
And yep, everyone, even Gandalf placed a bet. Though his money was on Bilbo and Thorin, for some strange reason. Pah!
One of my few angst-free fics. Bilbo/Bofur lends itself to fluff very well.
