I'm going to sing 4 songs tonight at a small open mic in New Jersey.

I know it's a tiny event. And they're all covers, basically, the cute boy who I know is playing guitar and wanted to give me a chance to sing on stage. Because he's nice like that.

Material lust looks unpleasant to a poor person, an environmentalist or an anti-capitalist; but adopting and caring for forgotten ephemera in the gigantic mound of throwaway shit that we made as our human world, seems natural, almost, like the only thing a pattern-seeking hairless ape can do in the face of this plastic surge.

after spending too much time around assholes, is so refreshing.

It's like eating real,fresh food for the first time after being trapped in space with astronaut food for years.
