If I walked into a store with no intentions of spending money on games, and I read that description, I think I would buy the game on the spot.

I'm thinking very seriously of going to the store WITH the intention of buying that game. At least going in and looking at it.

How much does it cost?

$19.99 for a new copy, although I would be willing to pay upwards of 19 billion dollars and 99 cents for just a demo of it.

I rented it once and didn't get much chance to play it, but it seemed pretty fun. Maybe since it is only 20 dollars now I should buy it.

I liked Spartan Total Warrior a lot...actually more, but like I said, I didn't get to play GOW much. So give that game a shot if you haven't already, it is awesome. You are a Spartan that gets all of these awesome weapons (Achilles Spear, double swords, Medusa Blade) and abilities to go along with each weapon (aka magic). You fight HUNDREDS of enemies each level. Some of the more intensive levels I would have fought around 800 enemies (there is a kill count at the end of the level). Awesome game soaked in Greek mythology as well. Check it out.

Yea that game better be badass after all the shit we (by we I mean you and Ryan b/c I didn't do shit) went through to clean the damn PS2 so it would play it...errrrr

And of course...it is badass!

I know this is an old entry, but I felt it relevant.
First of all, I did indeed play God of War and it was every bit as kickass as you said.
