I'm sharing my room with two other girls. It's really, really strange, as I've never shared my room with anyone but Hermione before, and that was only for a few weeks. Though I do love having Daphne and Pansy around, don't get me wrong. It is a bit cramped in here, though, so I'm thinking about asking if one of them would like to room with Draco in ( Read more... )

It's times like this I thank Merlin I took Muggle Studies. I don't want to sound like a know it all but...It's telephone, electricity and battery. The little cordless phones are mobiles. It's really quite marvelous how muggles get on without magic. Really.

The offer to show me around the store is still valid, Ginny? I'd like to pop in next week and take a gander at it all. Might to well for professional reasons too. It's possible, if I word it right, I could still get paid...I have owls to send. The shop sounds fascinating.

Oh, I feel stupid now. I can't keep track of all their silly gadgets.

And yes, pop in whenever. If I'm not there by some chance, just tell John that you know me, and he'll show you around.

Bloody hell, can I come to work with you?

Not to, you know, actually work, but to see all the funny Muggle things. We've got our first mini exam coming up, and I'm still fucking up the whole money bit.

You should come in on lunch when the shop is closed, and I'll show you everything. We'll have a money review session, and then you'll be right as rain for your exam.

Ernie's right, they're called mobile phones. Or cellphones. They do actually have a battery in them but it's not one of the normal, circular batteries. They recharge the battery with electricity.

I suppose it's almost like the Muggles have their own sort of magic to you guys, isn't it?

I hope you'll have enough room on Saturday for me to visit. I won't stay the night (you obviously wouldn't have enough room) but I'll stay for dinner, if that's alright with Molly.

Bollocks, there's plenty of room. I certainly wouldn't mind sharing with someone.

Of course, I want you to stay for purely selfish reasons, as I'm sure you'd be the perfect study partner. I've heard stories of colour coded notes. And I'm intrigued.

Mum doesn't mind a bit, and there's still loads of room. Sort of.

Congrats, Gin. I'm to see you in that shop one of these days. Maybe I'll bring Dean.
