Oh yeah, the laughing is basically a cover up to hide the true emotion. Either they're freaked out, jealous, or uncomfortable. The only time most of them ARE good at showing emotion is when they're pissed.
Dunn just had to be the supportive one. If not, then who would Bam have to lean on? he has Ville of course, but personally, I don't think he would be able to bear the loss of Dunn especially.

Ouch. Yeah, that's the guys' way of saying that they're uncomfortable, the laughing. But that doesn't make it any less painful for Bam and Ville.
I love Dunn so much for being uber supportive and just perfect the way he is. :D
