Wow I'm done. Ha to think it was only supposed to be a one-shot.
Ville and I had been through loads of drama. Drugs, eating disorders, cheating on each other, and being thousands of miles away, we’ve been through most things people dread.
The truth is, it doesn’t really matter in the end, because we always end up together and madly in love. Not even the media came between us. We came out to the public the year we became engaged. We lost a lot of fans, but our loyal ones supported us.
We were searching the web one day, putting in random words in google. We came across livejournal.com. It turns out that people were set on us together as a couple for years. They called it Vam. We found it hilarious, but reading some of the posts and stories, some of the things we read we close to things that had actually happened.
The day we came out was the worst though. It hurt in some ways. People came up to me calling our relationship sick, wrong, sinful. Some guy jumped Ville; thankfully Ryan and Linde were near by and helped him out.
It hurt really badly, when it turned out to be one of my fans. I held a crying Ville in my arms for hours, his lip split and his eye black. They had thought he ‘influenced’ me to be gay. Some people are so stupid.
Some one spray painted “Fag” on the side of hummer and wrote a verse from the bible out of the book of Leviticus, about how all gays go to hell, in permanent marker on my windshield.
A lot of bad things happened over a period of time, but in the end friends, family, and a lot of fans supported us. I think people looked past our sexual orientation and realized we were the same when they liked us we just told people now.
We got married two years after our engagement. It wasn’t huge or anything, we had it in my back yard, friends and family. Novak and I were cool again; Ville took a while to like him again. Dunn and Linde were our best men, because they were the people who helped us through our drama the most. The crew, Jess, Jesse, and the band were our groom’s men.
Now our wedding was interesting. Jess’s daughter brought the rings to us, but she tripped midway down the aisle and it took five minutes to find the rings. The mothers cried, the fathers comforted them, and by the end of the ‘I do’s’ Ville and I were kissing, without the priest even saying we were married yet.
Linde and Dunn are a serious couple now, which we all knew was going to happen. They came out to the public a little while after we got married, surprisingly people were more accepting, I like to think Ville and I had something to do with that.
Now Ville and I live together in Castle Bam and his old apartment in Finland. We fly back and forth constantly because neither of us can bear to move away from our original homes.
Next March we’re fostering a child. It took a while for us to find an agency that would let us adopt. Apparently gays might corrupt young children. A little girl named Evelyn is whom we are fostering.
Yeah know, I’ve been through all of this stuff, and all I’ve really learned, is how much I love this man. This man who overcame things just for me. This man who is, and always will be, my perfect rock star.
