Promises
This is my first post here, it's a poem and the pairing can be anyone but when I wrote it I thought of Vam. I got the idea from a short Vam fic byhergerbabe found here.
A promise unkept, broken, and lost
A betrayel so deep he'll never recover
A friendship once untouched by the sands of time
A confession of a dark secret love he held deep inside
And as a tear falls from your eye
You notice a letter, wrapped in his pale, lifeless hands
His heart lies in the debris
His trust shattered and unregainable
The faith he had in you has diminished
The one thing he thought only you would understand
But you left him all alone
Lost in the sorrows of a broken heart
The confession you ran from
Scared you might feel the same way
You were his protector
He thought you would alwasy be there
In the letter
In his tidy scrawl
Was written his confession
With a hint of passion
He said how you were the only reason he lived at all
And at the bottom of the page
Just below his name

This is for you
You know who you are
I have but one last request
Don't let my death be in vain
There's no room in this hell
Yet no room in the next
But we'll be together some how, some day
My question is this
Make me one last promise
Use my death to our advantage
Baby, join me in death
Now, on the day of his funeral
You get up to speak
Tears fill your eyes
You tell of your love for him
You tell of desire
You tell of the final promise
Without giving it away
How it is one you can't break
Leaning over his body
You kiss his supple lips softly
Whispering I love you
You stand up again
You pull the pistol from your pocket
Place it to your head
Pulling the trigger
Feeling yourself fall from grace
His arms slip around you
Kisses shower your neck
You smile softly, stiffling a moan
You are reunited with your love
Together forever, together for always, together in death
