fact of the matter is if you're in love with someone, i mean really in love with them, you would not find yourself in situations where you do things you wouldn't do if you were in love. these things would not happen if you really were in love. they just DON'T.

it's just a statement pretty much that if you loved them, their happiness would be first- not the happiness of someone else from your past. i was just saying if you really loved someone, you would not do the things you know would hurt them the most and think it is ok.
