Help?

Ok, so I have a really really complicated question for you all.  Well... actually, the question is quite simple, it's the scenario that's complicated.  I warn you there is a LOT of reading involved in this, so don't click the cuts if you're not prepared.  I'm just not sure who else to ask except a therapist and - quite frankly - I'm not prepared to ( Read more... )

Good grief! That was full of good old fashioned drama!

Honestly it doesn't look like you should do anything. Obviously Britta and Jason are upset and enraged that they can't control the puppet strings. They keep trying to cut the two of you off, then coming to see why your not running back to them. I only skimmed the last 2 posts, but that's what I got.
Britta's 'fears' will come around, but she will probably never realize that it's her fault and not yours. If your friendship has been full of her manipulating you, your better off without her.
I would tell her to go drink a glass of herself.

My mom is going through something similar right now with an old 'friend'. I'm on the sidelines watching, and I really don't understand why she bothers to keep picking up the phone. So I'm sorry if this was just way harsh. It's everything I wish I could tell my mom.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. No matter how many times she apologizes I am basically sure that a day later it will be all my fault again. I'm sorry about your mom... you must be so frustrated, like I am. I hope everything works out with them too!

p.s. Go drink a glass of herself, haha, I like it ;)
