I was really nervous during my first visit to the ob-gyn too; I guess you have to experience it before you realize it's not all that bad. She had me take pills, too (I missed my daily dose all the time though which was...uh, not good).

Really hope your uterus does feel better, though. And good luck with your appeal :)

Oh wow, I hope everything turns out okay with you!!! :-/ That's all gotta be kinda scary.

But--a pet GOOSE!? That is very exciting. My school has a flock of them, LOL. They just waddle around campus and follow each other around. But if you're eating outside, they totally stalk you! Anyhoo, they're really cute!

And ps--good luck w/ the appeal! :)

For years when I was younger my mom was being shuffled around to different doctors in the Raleigh-area because of her endometriosis. All of them said it was the worst they had ever seen, and she was constantly in pain and bleeding for weeks. She fainted a few times in stores while shopping with me because of it. Every doctor she saw practically begged her to have a hysterectomy, telling her it was the best thing for her and that the organs wouldn't work anymore anyway.

She refused.
Two years ago she gave birth to my beautiful baby brother.
Suck on that, doctors.

(Basically, my point is endometriosis is painful and it does suck, etc. etc., but it isn't the worst thing in the world and you'll be fine. Also, we can pop pain medicine together because I most likely have it too. Had pain so bad recently that I started crying and had to go to Urgent Care, so I can definitely relate. We'll be female-organ-hating buddies or something.)
