(no subject)
bah, i went to the gynie today. it was my first time ever and i was super nervous, but it wasn't that bad (trust me, sailorscully!). it turns out, my ob/gyn is my new neighbor! they just build a house literally across the road from us, and her and her fiance are both super nice. and she's pretty much identical to me - she takes all the medications i do for all the same reasons, lol. and they have a pet canadian goose, so she said he might wander over to our yard sometimes XD
anyways, i went because of clyde. and she felt around and everything and she is sending me for an ultrasound to look for ovarian cysts, but she thinks it's not a cyst, that it's endometriosis instead. i wikipedia-linked that for you guys, so you can read what it is. it's not a good thing at all - it can cause lots of internal tissue scarring and infertility. my half-sister amanda has it really bad, and it's hereditary, so. like i said, i have to go for an ultrasound, but she's pretty positive i have it. so she put me on a birth control pill called yaz, which should help with it, but i may need further pain medications. which totally sucks because i don't want to become a pill-popper, and i already take a lot of prescription medicines anyway (five, in fact). ;/
tomorrow my mommy and i are going to see 'bobby.' i'm REALLY excited because i want to see it so so bad, and it looks really good. hopefully my uterus will feel better because right now, it hurts a lottt. :(
oh, and i mailed in my appeal for UNCA today. so, hopefully, i'll find out about that soon? cross your fingers!
