My dad gets really really mad at me for everything I do even if it's not a big deal and yells at me until I walk away. It makes me really depressed even though I shouldn't let it get to me. Sometimes I think he doesn't love me.

In fact, just today, my dad yelled at me for turning the air conditioner on and having the front door open, when I didn't even turn the A.C on!
My Mom was the one who turned it on!

A story - Today I made my friend a card, and it took 3 hours. I got glue on my fingers, and so I licked it off.

Sometimes i feel like i need to show off, not like "today i totally did this" just to get someone's attention, i know it's bad.. but i want people to give me attention.. how conceited.

sometimes, i'd rather not see my family. They're always nice to me, but sometimes i feel like leaving and not coming back. It would break their hearts forever.

sometimes, i have feelings that i'm gay. But then that goes away. I read somewhere that, that is normal for teenagers though. I can't stand the thought of being a homosexual myself, i mean i'm all for their doing whatever they want.. i just don't want to be.

Sometimes, i have feelings for my best friend, i don't want them to ever know, because i wouldn't know how to go about explaining it. everyone always says we'd make a great pair. sometimes i'd like to agree. they started hanging out with this older person recently.. and i remain cool about it, but deep down it hurts..

Showing off is okay to a certain extent....people need to be noticed to make them feel like they're alive. I don't consider you a conceited person at all. I've seen/heard of worse cases of 'starving-for-affection'.

Take a nice, long walk. Escape from your house for a while. Get time to yourself to think about you and your family. It's completly and utterly okay for you to not want to deal with your family, whether they are nice to you or not. It's human nature.

Yes, it's normal for teenagers to wonder if they are gay or not. I've went through it also. Even if you are gay...that doesn't mean your going to change or anything. You just might have different preferences.
