True...I don't have to comment back, but I'm going to, whether you like it or not. =)

Showing off is okay to a certain extent....people need to be noticed to make them feel like they're alive. I don't consider you a conceited person at all. I've seen/heard of worse cases of 'starving-for-affection'.

Take a nice, long walk. Escape from your house for a while. Get time to yourself to think about you and your family. It's completly and utterly okay for you to not want to deal with your family, whether they are nice to you or not. It's human nature.

Yes, it's normal for teenagers to wonder if they are gay or not. I've went through it also. Even if you are gay...that doesn't mean your going to change or anything. You just might have different preferences.

Oh yes...the best-friend-crush...it's a classic. Of course you're going to have feelings for your best friend. You tell them your secrets...you know what they love and how to push their buttons, and vice versa. I always have crushes on my best guy friends... Sometimes, it's better to let them know, then to let it eat you up inside.
