Made in Photoshop 7. Icon placed 1st at smicons_contest
01. After cropping the image from The Oracle and resizing the selection you are left with this. Auto Contrast and Auto Color to clean it up.
02. Duplicate the base and set it to Linear Burn at 100%.
03. Fill a new layer with #07122D and set that layer to Exculsion at 100%.
04. Duplicate the base and move it to the top. Desaturate it and use Auto Contrast to clean it up. Set it to Screen at 100%.
05. Fill a new layer with #B1E9FF and set it to Color Burn at 100%.
06. Duplicate the base and move it to the top. Set it to Multiply at 35%.
07. Take the light texture made by unmasked_icons and set it to Screen at 100% after using Blur More on the texture.
08. Take the light texture made by unmasked_icons and set it to Screen at 100% after using Blur More on the texture.
09. From here on it is text and border of choice. The fonts used were Angelo Text for the "P" and Times New Roman for "RINCESS BRIDE". The Rounded Rectangle Tool was used under the text in #E4F5F9 to help the it be readable. The border is a 2px border of #FFFFFF with a 1px border of #E4F5F9 on top of the white border.
