Went out for sushi with friends from work tonight. 4 couples, some sake and some fantastic sushi - best I've had since CA. Lovely and pleasant but 4 hours of socializing is enough for me. -

I finally got some Ambien for the sleep problems and the difference in mood and temper after 4 nights of 7 straight hours of sleep is astonishing and gratifying. Off to see another specialist on Monday to see if there is more to be tweaked amongst the meds. Middle age - what a kick in the shorts ( Read more... ) -
Job search
Friends, I have made a decision. I am now looking for a new job. It is not the best time of year for my field, but I think I will feel better if I am actively pursuing other options. Well, that's 4.5 hours of my life I will never get back and they were still going when I left at midnight. Sometimes I really dislike certain aspects of my chosen profession. -

I took a group of girls on retreat with 60 kids from 4 other temples up at a semi-local URJ camp. In March, in the Poconos. We put the kids on the bus and I was elected to drive the chase car.
