I did it! My partner and I have signed the lease and are getting registered with the government. I now have my very own store to sell rock merch and all the goods at a cozy shop a little south of Montreal where the kids don't seem to have anywhere else to buy that kinda stuff. Congratulations! This is great news. Now, if I am ever jobless in Canada, I'll have a place to hand in an application.

Hey.. if you'll be selling any CDs by independent artists, let me know. If you're interested, I have one that would love to get some presence in Montreal.

Of course, along with the idea of the bar comes booking shows and selling independent artists' merch in my store. If you want to send a few cds for me to sell in the store (expect them to be on the racks by May), I will sell through consignment. Let me know how much you want to make off of each cd and I will write you up a receipt and send it to you. When they sell, the amount you wanted will be put aside and I can get that to you through paypal or money order or check. The send to address for now is:
