I'm opening my store on May 1st
I did it! My partner and I have signed the lease and are getting registered with the government. I now have my very own store to sell rock merch and all the goods at a cozy shop a little south of Montreal where the kids don't seem to have anywhere else to buy that kinda stuff. This month will be the paper work and the publicity. Next month, we get to move in and take care of all the renovation. In May, if all goes well, it'll be open! Fuckin eh! I'm gonna be staying at my job probably until august. My partner's girlfriend and another part time employee will be handling the cashier job during the week, and I'll split the weekend with my partner for now. When it's rolling well enough for us to leave our jobs, we will! We're looking into buying this bar across the street and a few blocks down from the store in the near future, and that'll give us even more credit in the 'scene' and our chance to manipulate it quite heavily \m/. Soon, I can finally say, I'll be my own boss, and then I'll have no problems getting on tour and finding time for all of my musical activities. I'm a happy man, but for now, my most appreciated virtue is patience.
