Ye Olde Chopping Block (Redux)

I'm afriad it's that time again. Last Wednesdy was the first Wednesdy of the month. It's freakin' July! I'm going away to school next month! That scares me beyond belief, but if there's one thing I can get a handle on now, it's trimming my expenses by cutting down on comic books.

Angel got a whole new direction Post-ATF, so I don't think it's going anywhere.

I dropped Thunderbolts to make room for Dark Avengers, made perfect sense to me.

They're being very hush hush on the new Flash creative team and direction, but I think Johns'll still be there, Van Sciver won't be.

The Unwritten #2 came out 2 or 3 weeks go, I'm completely hooked.

If it's not, I'm sure it'll go into second printing. I think Astonishing and Initiative should be dropped since they just finished arcs. It's still early in the month, we'll see what I have the strength to pass over.

Drop Sirens!

It might help to drop titles that you know you're going to buy the trades of afterwards, but not when it comes to lower-selling titles (ie, don't drop Booster Gold, for instance).

That is my highly biased advice. =)

I can't drop Sirens, it's Paul Dini writing Harley Quinn! My 90'sCartooniness won't let me. Plus I feel guilty for never buying Catwoman regularly. I dropped 'tec to make room for Sirens.

You may have a point about trades, but I can only do that for the stuff that won't be crossing over or affecting other titles. Maybe the Vertigo stuff.
