Ahhh... would someone like to tell me where I am, and why I'm in this... bathtub that's not mine?

... Christmas came early. Welcome to my humble home.

[it's a simple one bedroom apartment with plain decor and dirty laundry on the toilet tank]

A lady is always deserving of such accommodation, no matter the circumstance, and I find these circumstances befitting. I of course would do my best to see to your safe return to home, in time.

Oh? You're a bit like my captain, even though I think you might be more of a gentleman.

In time?

I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting your captain, though I'm aware there are several of those from your world in this city.

We can't have you leaving in just a coat can we? Your robes would take some time to dry, not to mention ironing. Unless you wouldn't mind wearing my clothes upon your return?

Yes, our numbers are a little high here in the City.

... I didn't think of that. Kyouraku-taichou would tease me if I did something like that...

It's a gentleman's duty to help protect a lady's dignity. What do your 'numbers' in the city do? I've heard others refer to you as reapers of a sort.

Shinigami are death gods, or spirit reapers. We actually have little to do here, since there's no true death in the city.

We send wandering souls to Soul Society.... and cleanse corrupt souls so they can welcomed in Soul Society.

A little bit like redeemers aren't you...?

I was a governor before I came here.

By definition, yes. At least, I would assume.

What were your duties?

Leader, protector, and representative of the town. I still worry how the rest of my administration are faring without me.

Quite a lot of responsibility for one person.

It takes its toll, though it sounds on par with your duties.

My captain shoulders a lot of the division work, even though I always end up with the paperwork..
