giving up the green

tea, that is. I'll still drink it once in a while, but it's not going to be my main tea for awhile. Not until I start gaining weight again. I weigh 117. When I got married (in 1976), I weighed 114. Oh! *smacks forehead with palm* I forgot people drink green tea to lose weight. I wonder if drinking the green tea helps them lose weight b/c they're not drinking something else or if it makes you lose weight on its own merits. Hang on.... Oh, I see. It helps burn fat.

I just Googled "Does green tea make you lose weight?" and all the results are framed as "Can green tea help you lose weight?" Perspective is funny.

Looks like it probably can/does. Maybe I should cut down on that as well.

In the elevator at my office building they have a tv screen with stupid headlines and "news" blurbs on it. The other day, it said dark chocolate helps you fight off "the swine flu." That's all I need to hear. Mmmmm. Not getting swine flu is tasty.

I put on weight over the summer because I was riding my bike so much, I had some serious muscle. I was getting all sexy-looking. I've been taking the trolley for about a month or so now. Ugh. I need to find a way to get more exercise. Other than running for the trolley.
