I've recently came across all this A Bit Of Fry and Laurie stuff for the first time and totally enjoyed it. This particular linguistic sketch was one of my favourites! :)

I love languages, and I adore Fry&Laurie. And I absolutely totally completely lost my composure at this wonderful send-up of pretentious philosophistry.

Is Barry Manilow the one with the person from Ipanema? Then I like.

I couldn't focus on what was being said, I wanted so badly to just brush that fringe AWAY FROM HIS FOREHEAD!!! because it looked all heavy and moist and mop-like and... gargh.

Quite unrelated to that, the moby_journal feed appears to not work anymore, so I've moved on to mobysblog - you might want to do the same :)

OK, thanks for the tip, but I don't think I'll be joining it until I get a computer for myself again...I have trouble keeping up with my friends' journals already as it is...
