Love Theme used to be the making love-song with Petri

I love the soundtrack of Blade Runner [Memories of Green, Blade Runner Blues and Love Theme in particular].

I feel like crying. Right now.

Painful. Melancholic. Bittersweet...like a tender smile through a stream of tears.

Time to die.

Oh, darling Camilla -- NOT at all! No dying! (Though it was a good line in the movie!)

Do tell us more about loving Petri -- but remember that the loss of a love, painful as it may be, is only the first step toward finding a new one.

You shall have other loves -- and wonderful ones! (Girls, I hope! But I wish you a nice guy, too!)

BTW a few weeks ago, by a nice coincidence, I saw Blade Runner again, first time since seeing it the first time back in the 80s. It held up very well -- which is unusual in re-experiencing a treasured icon such as a film! The girl -- who played her? -- was great! (I was less than thrilled by the young H. Ford...but I suppose if Calista Flockhart is attracted to him, he must have something special -- OMG! I loved her in "Ally McBeal" -- do you like that old series?)

Kisses! Justine

haha, no, I find Calista too skinny and not very attractive to me in other ways either.

Rachael was played by Sean Young.

I did love Petri, and the song makes me tear eyed these days because I associate it with the illusion I had back then that he'd actually care about me. But despite that teary-eyedness, I hate him. I don't hate my other exes, but he was/is a narcissistic piece of shit and I can't help hating him.

Director's Cut? The ending is different, I think. I saw Blade Runner recently. It is good! Have you read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

I don't remember how the director's cut went. And no, I haven't read it, but it's on my "to read"-list :>

If you like Dick (I just had to go there) try The Man in the High Castle and The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch. They are spiffing reads :)
