I was addressed a question. The question was "Is the essence of happiness to be ever elusive?"

My answer was:

True, society can take much blame for this. The Jante-law is encouraged too often these days - if not openly, then discreet and indirect - and people succumb to it >.< "My problems are unimportant, other's suffer more than I do" and all that ( ... )

Yes, balance.

Also, a diabetic is a person suffering from diabetes (which is the accurate term for the illness).
