I'm in fact a little amazed that if it was that bad, you didn't kick him off long ago.. and I'm glad you rid yourself of him now. Have you explained to Heta about these things? I don't know her, but after what you've told me, she seems like a sensible person. She'd probably understand, don't you think?
I've so far only dealt with this stuff internally and thought through things. I don't really know what to do...I guess I should talk to her, of course. But I don't know what'll happen with our friendship.
I'd talk to her, if it was me. As far as I know, you are the "victim" in this matter, and just because he's your friends boyfriend, doesn't mean you have to put up with it because of her. I think she'd agree... I mean she stands up for you already when he starts spewing bull, right?
Shit, I forgot to comment on this-- no, really, I've been far too busy.
It sounds like he's got his own set of problems to deal with. Unfortunately while you might have admitted to yours, he doesn't seem to have done so regarding his.
I hope you kicked him in the jewels when you broke up. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did, and I'm even more surprised how guys like that can get into relationships that long when other, less childlike guys can't.
If you and her are such good friends, I say enlighten her about your probs with him.
