Things I have learnt today

Jan 04, 2012 21:07

If you drop something made of safety glass it doesn't break, it smashes into a million smithereens. Square chunky smithereens.

My floor is covered in pan lid. And I LIKED that pan! I bought it specially for this flat. It's the perfect size for individual pasta/rice portions.

Contact the manufacturer and see if they offer a replacement lid.

I'm still able to get parts for cookware my Grandmother bought in the 1930s.

Heheh, it came from Argos, I doubt they provide that service. I'm so cheap. :D

I'll just get another tomorrow.

Poor pan lid. Rest in pieces. (soooorrry)

*hugs*

You can still use the pan sans lid though, can't you? Or maybe get a new lid.

Pan lid all gone. *sniffs sadly*

But I bought it for the lid! It makes the water boil faster. It's ok though, the Argos place is just across the road, I'll get another one tomorrow.

Oh, yes! I did that the my car's rear windscreen once. It was fab, I spent anout an hour digging little chunks of glass out of the boot/off the back seats and waiting for the Autoglass man to come and replace it.

I am so sorry to hear about your pan lid. Can you maybe find a replacement lid on eBay? {hugs}

They're so pretty! Like snow. But they do indeed get EVERYWHERE.

I bought a new pan. It was only a cheap one.

There, there. That's how life goes. Here is another Pan for you. Though it doesn't have a lid.

Today I got a new pan. Not that pan. That pan would not cook noodles for me I don't think.
