You mean the front page of LJ is gonna look like that forever? I thought is was just a "oooh look what we can do, aren't we clever. Bear with us we'll grow up soon."

WHERE IS MY BIG "these people spoke stuff at you" THINGIE?

You have displeased the Treehugger.

*rofl* (well, more like a cynical giggle really)

So I commented on the update notice .. along with 2789 other comments ... and then read some of the top posts ... I think we are in the majority, guys. Take away ONTD and generally make it more personal.

I mean .. they consider what they have done an ENHANCEMENT!!!!!

When did the world start to be run to satisfy 14-yr-olds? Its not like they have much purchasing power, after all .... :P

Eh! I use the Friends page as a point of entry anyway.

14 year olds are not the right audience for cars and apartments, perhaps, but they do have enough purchasing power for online amusement (an LJ paid account is not beyond they reach, or they can be bombarded with ads for the sort of things that they can buy). They have the huge advantage (for ethicetomized Stefs) that they have little judgment and are easy to peer-pressure.

So yeah, the world belongs to 14 year olds, these days.

Hnnh....

I never go there anyway but seriously, that's a mess. Why do we give a shit about ONTD on the home page?

I sense this is due to the ONTD mod being on LJ staff now...

*shrugs* oh well.

My icon and your icon can flounder in their confusedness together.
