Undeniably, dear little sister. Kudos, the idea could have been ours.

The twins aren't the only brilliant ones in the family, George.

Certainly not what I was trying to imply. Have my compliments gotten that rusty?

Did I say it wasn't a compliment? Apologies, looks like my manners have gotten rusty.

You can fly?

What's Quiddich?

The most brilliant game ever. It's a bit like Muggle football, I suppose.

You've got seven players on a team, and they're all on broomsticks, and well... basically, three of them have got to score with a ball called the Quaffle. Those're Chasers. Then you've got two Beaters who keep these nasty balls called Bludgers away from their team with bats and hit them at the other team. And then the Keeper guards the goal hoops while the Seeker has to catch this wickedly fast ball called the Snitch. The game can only end when the Snitch is caught and whichever team's Seeker gets it wins 150 points and usually the game, too.

I call Keeper.

We'll have to figure out bludgers and a snitch, too.

I had a feeling you would, Ron. I'll Seek if I have to but you know I enjoy Chasing far more.

Reckon we could charm a couple of melons and a walnut?

I'm sure that would work out well.

[[ooc; D: Sorry I'm late, booboo. I ran off for a while.]]

It'd be messy. And I don't know if we can get the charms specific enough, unless we have someone on the ground with a wand and just conducting a Snitch or something.

[ooc; it's okay! i'm off for school in about 45 min, so. D:]

I've never heard of Quidditch before.

It's a sport from my world. We play it on broomsticks.

EH? How does that work??

Like most sports with balls-you pass one around until you score. That's the main point of it, anyway. You've just got other distractions, like Bludgers that try to knock you off your broom or a Snitch that earns you 150 points.

Of course?

I shouldn't be surprised.

Do you ever use things other than brooms--not so much for Quidditch, as flight in general?

A lot of countries in the Middle East still use flying carpets, though those're banned in Britain. You can't fly them and it's certainly against the law to charm any non-flying carpets.

My Dad works in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts department at the Ministry of Magic so he was involved in the passing of that legislation.

Have you flown on a carpet before---prior to the law coming into it, obviously? And what happens if you attempt to charm a carpet disinclined to become airborne?

I haven't ridden on a carpet, no. I mean, I can see the advantages to it-you can seat more people on it, obviously-but as for the consequences of breaking the ban? I've no idea.
