That's right....

On 4/20 -- a (pardon the pun) high holy day in the marijuana subculture -- the liturgical text focused on Stephen getting stoned.

Chad's January endoscopy had been rescheduled for Friday, making it a good reason to call it a day off from work.

Chad having a straw shoved down his throat, however, may not have been the bad experience of the day.

Go to Sears at the mall. In the electronics section, against the wall, they have on display those clocks that automatically reset after a power interruption. Two of them you can test.

The one on the left apparently didn't get the memo about the end of DST, and reset to 6:59. The one on the right correctly displayed 5:59.

My aunt e-mailed me today, asking if I knew a Professor Neidermeyer from the business school at the University, who was a speaker in a retirement conference held at the University's hospital, where she works ( Read more... )

So I'm doing laundry, and I pull the clothes out.

I hear a rattle, and I find a pen lid quickly followed by a pen.

Fortunately, most of the clothes involved were dark, but two pair of brown pants and a gray sweatshirt are now streaked black.
