"Without a trace", close to home
The case of a missing mother of three has hit me personally, as my landlord is her uncle.
She was last seen dropping off her kids from daycare on Wednesday morning, and authorities found the abandoned vehicle on the west side of town (about 10 miles west from the daycare) just today.
While it's good news that the vehicle was found -- what with forensic tests that can be performed -- the fact that she wasn't in it may not bode well.
