I've been waiting for this chapter, why, why do I only find out now it's done? I read the story some while back and thought it would be interesting to give the audio version a go - best idea for entertainment at work for almost a whole week (I cannot remember the last time I've got things done with this fierce dedication, you can't imagine). I must confess I adore Harry's bedroom voice, though it makes me press pause and sink into the chair to hide behind the computer screen with a silly grin. Downloading this precious for tomorrow :) and already looking forward to the next installment. Thank you so much for the hard work, I've had some pretty tough days made bearable by your reading of this lovely story!

I have to admit that I quite like doing the sex scenes in this story. Clearly, I'm a bit of a pervert (see icon!). Next chapter should be out in the next week or so (it's off to Beta at the moment).
I just want to say thank you! This fic is beyond amazing and now thanks to you I can enjoy it wherever I am. It must take a lot of time and effort and I want you to know that I (and I'm sure many others too) truly appreciate what you're doing. I really like listening to your voice and I think you read very articulately and well! I could just listen to your voice all day long! :)

And I'm also pleased to have contributed to your crochet experience (I, myself, am a quilter, and audio-fics have helped me stay on task through many an hour of quilting).
As a reply to your comment about assuming people have read the story before they listen to it... I'm always on the lookout for more audio fics, and I enjoy finding old favorites appear in audio. However, as I've mentioned previously, I hadn't discovered sarahs-girl until you showed up on jinjurly's site. I love reading her fluffy-verse fics, but refuse to get ahead of you in Foundations. Am waiting for you to finish reading it to me. :)
That's fantastic to hear! I've been an audio-fic fan for years, but didn't realize how much audio fanfic there was out there until recently. Have you been following the Podbang at Amplificathon? There's some excellent looking stuff there in many and various fandoms. I'm not sure if there's much in the way of H/D (my own contribution was Xander/Spike, and my gift is House/Wilson) but I'm hoping to find some H/D in there somewhere!
I am extremely flattered that you are choosing to listen to the chapters rather than reading them. I'm not quite sure that I would have the patience, myself! Chapter 10 is done, by the way, and off to Beta. Given the season, I'm not sure how quickly Nat will be able to get it back, but I expect it will probably post before New Year's Day (fingers crossed!)
If you have any recommendations, I would love to hear them. Unfortunately, I prefer my fic (audio and written) long, and those are incredibly rare in the audio world... I need to believe in the characters and the situation, which usually takes time and development. I'd welcome recs for any wonderful lengthy fics you know about, in any fandom.
As for patience... I discovered your fic and devoured everything you'd recorded so far. I can't say I'm terribly patient when it comes to waiting for new chapters, but I enjoy listening to the new chapters so much that I'm certainly not going to spoil it by reading ahead. Am now impatiently awaiting the next chaper, and I only just finished the last.
Cool! I love listening to podfics when I travel, although I'm always a bit concerned that people will think I'm insane when I start randomly giggling (or, sometimes, crying) for no apparent reason!
