After finding that links to a couple of favourite fics had stopped working, I decided that it was time to panic. In this context, panicking involves saving copies of all my favourite fics to my hard drive. Almost immediately I ran into the problem of deciding what to save. YAY! The internet seems to be full of Americans and Europeans, so I thought I'd drop by to wish you a Happy Canada Day too. We are few on LJ, but we are... well, no, OK, we're not exactly mighty, either, but at least we exist, lol :)

I feel your archiving pain, and I know exactly what you mean when you say you're stuck re-reading things instead of saving them. Every time I attempt to clean out my room of things I no longer need, I end up perusing them and saving way more than I should, and it takes 3x the time, too.
