Not radioactive, but noteworthy all the same
Last night, I had another waking dream about spiders. Similar to the last time, I felt like I was waking up to the sight of spiders next to my bed. This time, however, there was more than one (at least two) and they were much, much smaller. Much more akin to the size and type of spider you'd expect to see around here.

There was something different about LJ's heyday compared to social media platforms today. Everyone posted long, rambling updates which, if you took the time to read them, really gave you a window into their life and/or their way of thinking.
Now all I see on Facebook, Twitter and the like are music and film updates, memes and fake news articles. ( Read more... ) -

I still kinda miss this place.
Facebook isn't the same. Twitter is just one long flamewar.
