I've been reading these as you posted them today (been meaning to comment, but I'm bad like that :P). They are great little glimpses of these two. Their interaction is great, you really nailed them both well.

The last one here, Drawing the Line, is my favorite, though. Balthier is so cavalier about the entire thing. "Stop this foolishness and move on to something permenant, then." :P It's just lovely. Thanks for sharing it :).

These are, once again, adorable, capturing their tension/relationship perfectly. I think 22 is my favorite-- subtle, casual, and yet showing that Balthier feels instinctually almost as much as he does conciously --- and gives us an interesting view of almost the reverse of Balthier's own life changes.
