If a person runs hard then they are putting strain on the body thus forcing the body to adapt to the new situation. now if you keep excersising and putting strain on the body you will acheve greater cardiac strength

noone of that changes the basic fact that if you run 2 miles a day ur still DOING more even though it becomes easier nothing easier than sitting on your ass all day. only getting up to the use the bathroom and refrigirator thats not equivilent to 2 miles.
