What an excellent costume! I love it! And your pumpkin is very impressive! I need to post my pictures. Oh yeah, that's right, I'd need to have a computer that does something besides internet. *kicks computer*

Are those cup cakes? I sure would like one right now!

It was definitely a fun Halloween. I was going to make fudge until I found the skeleton hands and thought they would be the perfect topping for cupcakes. Most of my neighbors make homemade treats for the kids they know. This year the kids got things like gingerbread, carmel apples, popcorn balls, brownies, sugar cookies, etc. in addition to the store bought goodies. I'm not above interrogating the kids about who's giving out what and then trick-or-treating for carmel apples myself. :)

OH! Can you host a Halloween party at my house next year? LOVE the skeletal cakes!!! Fabulous!

And, my dear, you took my costume away from me! I wanted to be Prof. Trelawny this year! But, alas, it crept up on me, and I didn't even wear my usual witch's hat and funky robe!

Great pics! And the little ones look cute too!

AND, omg, HOW did you carve the HP pumpkin? LOve it!!

Great job!

Most of the Trelawney gear was from my fortune teller outfit from a few years ago. I'll store the stuff in case I want to do it again but plan to keep looking for a better wig/glasses and an olive colored dress. So if you ever want to borrow it, I'll send it to you.

I found 2 pumpkin carving patterns on the internet and merged them to have Harry w/lettering underneath. I've carved a lot of pumpkin designs over the years but that one is now my favorite!

Wow! That pumpkin is incredible!
And your costume was fabulous, of course!

92 trick-or-treaters? Jeeze. No candy leftover then, huh!

The trick-or-treaters loved the Harry Potter pumpkin and Trelawney giving out candy. *headsmack* I SHOULD have given out Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans!

Very little leftover candy! I always fix 100 treat bags which is the approximate number every year. The kids get a pretty good haul in my neighborhood. :)

Wow, that pumpkin is awesome, Sherry! Great job, and the shots came out well, too.

That pumpkin was a fun one to do. I also carved a creepy castle and a howling wolf.

When I shopped for a digital camera last week, I used the advice you posted for madlorivoldmort. Based on your standard feature points, I'm very happy with my new camera. Thank you!

Oh good, I'm glad that helped!

Aside from batteries you can recharge (including a spare set so you're always prepared), the best after-purchase advice is always to make backups of the pictures you move from the card to your hard drive. Always keep a second copy elsewhere like on a CD. That way a computer problem will never rob you of your pictures.
