thoughts of warmer weather

Baby, it's cold outside. I do like cool weather but I'm in that seasonal acclimation stage where I'm looking for something flannel while reminiscing about warm climates, blue water, and sandy beaches.

One has to admire the panache of a well-accessorized toddler. My son was always a fan of capes. Of course, he went through a lot of superhero phases. He also went a month where he wouldn't wear any shoes but his cowboy boots. Actually, it's a much preferable stage of life when kids wear what makes them happy/comfortable rather than self-consciously only wearing what their peers deem cool/acceptable.

My niece not only wears sunglasses, but works them like a diva. The kid makes me laugh. Of course, I think I have pics of her in them. I'll look. BTW, thanks for commenting on my pic posts. I think I'll have everyone suitably tired of pics by the end of the month. :)
