Well...

Hi. I'm new and I've never tried this before but I thought I'd give my hand at it. I feel that after so long of not writing (2 years) and suddenly getting back into it, this might be a good idea to start. So.. Here we are.

Criticism welcomed and needed. I haven't ever finished a story in all my years of writing and I hope to finish all 50 of these... *sigh* So please, help me out. One thing I notice is that.. I have problems ending things and end up rambling on, much like I do in life, and I don't quite ever know how to end it suitably... So, help, please?

Title: "Whatever They Say"
Author: missoctober3
Theme: #1, Accident
Rating: So far, PG for some wordies.
Pairing: Japanese band: Merry's Yuu, guitarist / Korean group: Dong Bang Shin Gi (DBSK, DBSG, etc) member JaeJoong
Disclaimer: Hey, listen. You know the drill. It's fiction. I highly doubt Yuu-sama and Joongie have ever been in the same room together, let alone would even look at each other. Better yet... I don't own them and if I get sued I'll be mighty pissed!
Comments: A CROSSOVER! A very unlikely one but one that my friend and I have become obsessed with due to our telephone ramblings (she lives in VA, soon to be here with me again! And I in TX.. and we have nothing better to do!) So yes, I hope you enjoy this and I hope it is okay. I looked, although I was sure, and didn't see the pairing claimed... Hehe. Also, with Yuu's name.. I looked it up on a website and I hope I got it right. *fingers crossed* Okay, I'll stop babbling.

An accident. That's not something that Yuu Yamaguchi had on his agenda for the day. No way, not at all. But yet, there seemed to be something in the air as he stepped out of his apartment that day. Humid yet cold, barren yet windy. Nothing seemed to be normal, from his new TV not working to his stovetop flaming up and nearly singing off his face, all the way to his perfectly good car not starting. And now this...

..In which his perfectly good car decided that, yes today was the day to wreck. And he did. He wrecked right into a car filled with a bunch of teenage boys.

Teenage boys that knew Japanese, but to a limited extent. Teenage boys that rambled on in Korean to each other.

Yuu stood unamused. Accidents, he thought. They just had to be happening to him today, right? Today of all days. The day he was actually free for a normal life. The day he was planning to see his Okaasan, locked away and lonely in the care of nurses and other medical faculty. It had been that way since his Otousan had died six years ago. Now, he wouldn't be able to make it as he would have to deal with his car, surely, before heading there. He had planned to take her out of the dreary place and for lunch somewhere nice. Especially since he could actually afford it now.

Things couldn't get any worse.

But Yuu did not actually know that a person should not think that thought when things had reached a peak of really horrible standards. Just as the thought entered into his mind, one of the boys began to hyperventilate. He recognized the symptoms as the onslaught of a panic attack, and blinked. His luck was just horrible this day. As the boy choked and gasped for air, panicking even more when he couldn't breathe completely, the four other boys rushed around him, smothering him even more.

Yuu sighed, ran a hand through his hair, and stepped forward. Putting out a hand and gently squeezing the shoulder of one of the boys, he was startled to find deep onyx eyes staring back at him with a somewhat haunted expression.

As he slowly helped the hyperventilating boy back to calm, people began to arrive to help them with their wreck and problems. Yuu was thankful, because he was beginning to think that today, he just might accidentally want to be swallowed in a certain boy's dark, dark coffee eyes. Wouldn't that be interesting?

He amused himself quietly at the thought as the six of them, including the officials in charge of helping, took them down to -- wherever it was that they were going. Yuu just couldn't be sure because he had realized just then that this boy had hair to match his eyes and he was just simply delightful.

Three hours and many headaches later, Yuu was on the sidewalk without a car and without much patience or strength to face anymore of the day. He decided he'd head out and take a walk, try to calm his nerves, and maybe get his Okaasan then. But he'd have to take the metro... or the bus. Neither idea was very kind to her, so, defeated, he decided he would walk home and try to borrow someone's uncrashed car on the next day.

Halfway home, Yuu heard a growling noise that snapped him out of his disoriented thoughts. He was getting ready to turn himself into a hospital for examining because he was just damn sure that something was knocked loose in his brain. He looked around, expecting to see a stray dog - strange? - somewhere nearby, and saw nothing. But people. And cars. Unwrecked cars. He sighed, heard the growling again, and realized that, yes, there was a dog nearby.

It was his stomach.

With the new idea in mind of getting food, he headed off to find a nice noodle bar to maybe calm his thoughts.

Walking into the quaint little place, he looked around. It was nearly empty, and this made him feel more calm. The last thing he needed was someone interrupting his meal. Stardom did have its downs. It came with the territory. He sat himself down and laid his head on his hands. When the woman came to ask him for his order, he ordered without looking up, voice muffled, and she strangely caught all he said.

Then the door opened once more and the wind blew a scent to him that seemed to register in his brain as familiar yet he couldn't recognize it. Sniffing at the air he slowly lifted his head until his eyes met with two onyx ones that were surrounded by onyx jagged hair and the palest skin he'd ever seen on anyone who was anyone.

He fought to keep his mouth from unhinging and digging its own grave.

Accidents seemed to only happen for reasons. And Yuu could not figure out , in this day of all days, why this young boy with the eyes that killed him with their caffeine promises and the hair that made his fingers ache, and the skin that made his mouth water had to just seemingly pop up around every corner and crevice that was taking up Yuu's day. It was very frustrating. Especially when his daydreams had begun swirling around the nameless, quiet boy.

With alarm, he realized the young Korean teen was heading his way. He slumped in his chair, hoping to hide, become invisible, disappear -- something; but no avail. The boy sat in front of Yuu, smiling without teeth and staring. Yuu gulped.

What a long day it was. He wasn't sure if he could handle whatever would come out of this boy's mouth at any given moment. Youth had become so fiery. Yuu decided he would be quiet and let the boy talk while he pondered at the day's strange events and occurrences and his own strange thoughts.

So, that's it for the first bit. I know this is odd... O_O But... I kinda have an idea where I'm taking it, kinda don't. I'm impulsive like that. I just hope someone likes it and I can get feedback on improvements, etc. Also, photo identification can be provided with those without the image of either JaeJoong or Yuu-sama. ^_^ Anywho.. I'll stop rambling now. Thank you for reading, I hope I have grabbed your attention somewhat?
