Potato 2015.07: Nakama Junta

The theme for the interview was weather, because the rainy season in Japan had arrived. (interview was done mid-May)

Q. An event that recently made your heart sunny?
It's the concerts after all. This time the set list, arrangement, performance, videos... because I was involved with all of them, at the beginning I actually had anxious clouds in my mind. Because the opening song "Seishun Uo---!!" is a coupling song, there were opinions that a more major song would be better, but I thought it could only be this song. At the beginning the people you love appear on the stage... when I thought of the fans' feelings, rather than them suddenly getting excited I wanted to put a cushion. After we actually did it, when everyone told me "it was good we did this song after all," my cleared mind became sunny.
Q. "What man" do you think you are?
Rainy (answers immediately). No matter what I do it'll become rainy. It's like getting hit by a typhoon. I remember even during my Kansai Jr. period it rained at major events, and I think it also rained during Johnny's WEST's debut conference, occasionally lightning came down. If everyone is too sunny and hot, then I'm the one that makes it rain and cools them down.
Q. What kind of weather would you compare your mood to right now?
Cloudy. Recently, anyway, I'm really sleepy. Probably because I'm relieved that the tour has started. I hardly have any memories on the shinkansen because I've been sleeping.
Q. On the day of your date, it suddenly rains! What kind of plan would you do?
Probably watch a movie together at home. After borrowing movies that the two of us wanted to see, we'll watch them comfortably. We'll make lunch together... during tea time we'll drink tea while listening to calm music. It feels really good to spend all day in a dressing gown. But this is a date I wouldn't be able to have in a relationship for years.
Q. Think of a way to enjoy the rainy season:
I don't like the rain so I don't want to go out. I would probably only go to eat with friends. Conversely I want to think of things I'm looking forward to doing.
Q. Think of a recent event:
After the concert in Nagoya, the five of us, without Akito and Shige because they had to take the first train the next day, gathered in Ryusei's room. We ate food, and although at first we had a serious talk about serious things like the future, suddenly, we were talking about things like the type of girl we like or what kind of girl we'd want to date, we got very excited. It was like the level of a conversation between guys in school. Once again I thought "we get along really well."
