Potato 2015.07: Shigeoka Daiki

The theme for the interview was weather, because the rainy season in Japan had arrived. (interview was done mid-May)
A note, sunny man= someone who makes the sun come out when he appears, rainy man = someone who makes the rain come out when he appears
Q. An event that made your heart sunny recently?
I gave flowers on Mother's Day. Though it was one day after. The last two, three years, I did it properly, but this year I fought with her on that day. I gave them with a feeling of "it's bad if I don't do it, though it's embarrassing," but it was good I did it after all. Though they were only placed on her desk, I think she was thankful.
Q. "What man" do you think you are?
I've never paid attention to whether I'm a sunny guy or a rainy guy so I don't know~. I'm not the type to worry about divinations. My mood changes easily, that means I probably frequently change Japan's weather (laughs).
Q. What kind of weather would you compare your mood to right now?
Cloudy. I've caught the beginning of a cold. After I've caught a cold it affects my nose and throat, because we have a concert tomorrow it's bad!
Q. On the day of your date, it suddenly rains! What kind of plan would you do?
I want to go to an aquarium. It's unrelated to the weather, the dim feeling is good isn't it? Because I like fish I'll watch them in a daze, but I wonder what the girl would do. If she gets bored it'll be difficult huh. A person with a "no matter what, I'll look forward to it" kind of tolerance would be good. By the way, I particularly like looking at the back of organisms that are stuck to the glass (laughs). After the aquarium we'll go home and lazily watch DVDs.
Q. Think of a way to enjoy the rainy season:
Conversely, what if I tried beating the rain? Two years ago, when I was filming "BAD BOYS J The Movie," Snow Man's Iwamoto Hikaru and I went cycling in a storm. We borrowed bikes after the rain had started and decided "let's go already." For the time being, we put on our raincoats, but we got soaked because they were cheap ones from the convenience store. I strangely enjoyed such a situation.
Q. Think of a recent event:
Recently, when the Kansai Jr. were backing for (Nakayama) Yuma on "Music Station," I heard "it's good." Their reputation has improved. Yara (Tomoyuki)-kun also complemented them, I was really happy~. Of course our concert is also coming, we're getting excited. It's on these days I think once again that it's a necessary existence.
