一発めぇぇぇぇぇぇぇ! Pamphlet: Nakama Junta

Note that I am self-taught, and not a native Japanese speaker. There may be errors. Feel free to share, but please don’t claim this as your own translation. Corrections are welcome.

He's asked to talk about their first concert, about Johnny's WEST, and what he thinks he can do for the group. I also added the Q&A from the end of the pamphlet.

The older brothers that are "the same as people at my school" change completely when singing and dancing.
With that kind of liveliness, our goal is to become a group that can be liked by all genders and ages.

Regarding the "1st Concert"
This time, Kami-chan and I were allowed to plan the set-up. Because it's the first time, first of all, we wanted people to know about the group and come to like us more. We planned with that kind of awareness in mind. It's physically really difficult for us to make it like the 7 of us are always on stage together (laughs), but it's like the New Year, a really flashy and lively atmosphere.
The venue this time, besides our "home" Osaka-jo Hall, is Yokohama Arena. Actually, I have a lot of emotions towards that place. In 2007, when Hey! Say! JUMP's debut was announced, I was also standing on stage. I remember everyone born in Showa was extremely disappointed because they said "everyone was born in Heisei" (laughs). Us standing at that place after debuting... it's much happier.

Regarding "Johnny's WEST"
During my junior era, I was with Akito as B.A.D, but being in a group of 7 people now is a completely different environment. As a group of 7, the various other members can provide the things that each of us don't have. It's probably not just me that feels this, the other members do as well. In terms of what the group is aiming for, within the other Johnny's groups, I want us to become a group that has the most familiarity with each other. "Indeed, they're like people at my school"... it'd be nice if we could become an older group like that. There is that right? A group that the girls in class can say "they're really idiots" towards. The topics of our conversations are just like male junior school students' (laughs). But when those older brothers are singing and dancing, they change completely. With that kind of liveliness, our goal is to become a group that can be liked by all genders and ages.

What are you able to do for Johnny's WEST?
The overall steering. Though we're basically free, if it seems like our ship is going in a strange direction, I'll correct it. Next, at a minimum, not being able to protect each other as members of society is no good, I probably firmly remind them of that... Since debuting, I often get mad at the members. As the oldest, I have the position as Johnny's WEST's older brother. The staff even tell me things like "keep doing your best" often, but of course I'm already aware of it (laughs). Though we're a large number of brothers, everyone is a good person. For many years to come, please continue to take care of us from now on!

Q&A
The direction of my comedy this year
As usual, it's tsukkomi right! My most difficult opponent is Hama-chan. There are times where I can't tell whether he's doing a boke or being stupid (laughs).

The ____ power I want to learn this year
Imaginative power. When thinking about concert production, I want to become someone who can come up with various ideas.

The place I want to go to this year
Turkey! The towns seem to have a good atmosphere, and I also want to see Cappadocia.

The member that you want to push forward this year
Kami-chan! Though he can play instruments and dance and sing, I feel like finding something else he can do. So this year, I want to work together to find it.

Things/items/people that have the image of your member colour
Canaries, my phone (I was happy with debut, so I tried to choose yellow), gold, ogyochi (Taiwanese yellow jelly. Sometimes I want to eat it very much), taxis.

If you were to compare Johnny's WEST to food
Candy that pops when you put it in your mouth. Though it's colourful and noisy, it becomes addictive (laughs).
