Potato 2015.07: Kamiyama Tomohiro

The theme for the interview was weather, because the rainy season in Japan had arrived. (interview was done mid-May)

Q. An event that recently made your heart sunny?
After ending three weeks of living in a hotel in Tokyo, I returned home. When I met our pets at home, my feelings calmed down somewhat. As usual our cat came to meet me in the entrance, and our dog waved his tail at me. After that, although the cat scratched my leg and peed on my shoes (laughs), the healing was much larger so I didn't get mad at all.
Q. "What man" do you think you are?
Recently it's neither. But when I appeared in the drama "Again!!," after putting on my costume it started to rain. That state of "the legend of Kamiyama the rainy man" is on the bonus video of the DVD, everyone please buy and watch it by all means. But rather than saying it's me I think Hiro-kun (the person I played) is the rain man isn't he (laughs).
Q. What kind of weather would you compare your mood to right now?
Cloudy. In fact, right now, it's cloudy, it's damp, and the studio is dripping (laughs). Because my headache is enduring, the clouds and rain and my head are making me space out and I'm not feeling well.
Q. On the day of your date, it suddenly rains! What kind of plan would you do?
If we are at the amusement park for example, if it rains, though I'll think what should we do, there's nowhere to go, the basic date plan won't change due to the rain. We would move around in the car, to be resourceful, and it's an adult date when we flexibly come to agreements isn't it? Well, honestly it would be a bit annoying.
Q. Think of a way to enjoy the rainy season:
"The moisture is your ally, use it to fully take care of your skin," how's that! My skin is dry, because my throat also easily gets dry I have to be careful in the winter. I don't hate the rainy season but it's probably better than winter just because it doesn't get dry.
Q. Think of a recent event:
Recently, I've been watching Kanjani∞'s live DVD every night. I still have respect for those people. My particular favourite part is the band session. Yokoyama (You)-kun's added trumpet made him appear more fashionable. There's already parts of the people I respect that appear more than cool, they exceed it. Also, actually, because Ryusei is practising how to DJ recently, Hama-chan and I are thinking we could have a band style that mixes our guitars with the DJ. Though, first off, to get everyone's knowledge of our likeness to become public we have just been talking about it. Stay tuned!
