Which I DIDN'T, yesterday. Would have posted this morning, but I was wallowing in a daze of pseudoephedrine-induced insomnia. I've still got the damn cold, but not as bad as the first two days.  I spent most of Sunday, and all of yesterday, down here in the Den of Iniquity, baking my bones with a space heater.  There was one up note yesterday. My sympathies on the cold--I was just out for a frighteningly long time after attempting to ignore a sinus infection--which then took over my whole head and bronchial tubes. My mission last week was to not get pneumonia again; I succeeded, but I wish I'd had a secret agent to help. Here's hoping your misery is/was blessedly short.

I'm intrigued by the O'Brian recipe book... I love trying old recipes (medieval, 18th c, or Granny--doesn't matter to me.)
