Thank you, my geeky mama! This is my all-time favorite pairing, as you know. Okay - OT3.

I love Jack and Liz's misunderstanding at the beginning. And that she wants to buy Will a master's sword. And that Jack cleaned himself up for his visit.

"I assure you, Captain Sparrow, there's been no lagging on his part. Or mine." I love that line. :)

Far too much truth and mutual admiration clouding the air in here.
And that one.

I so liked it, it was cute and fun and perfect for me. So thank you!

(Sorry for the delay in a response, I was at work and Lj is blocked there, but westwardlee was nice enough to copy this and email it so I could read it at work. YAY.)

I have to say, I'm just as geeked about the pretty sword in the picture as the story. hee.

I'm so glad you liked it all, graphics included. It was fun dressing up the sword -- I love that Christmassy stuff. :)

Your icon is great, btw, really cute!

You responded pretty quickly, I thought. Everyone is so busy this time of year. I've got a mountain of reading to do myself, with so many good stories being posted.

Happy Holidays!

Always exciting to find a new fic from you! And I see you haven't been putting those classes to waste either! What an incredible addition! Love it! Do you hire out?

The parlay between Jack and Elizabeth is great. You do your own version of Jack with all the flair typical of him. Love all the little bits and digs.

He just can't help himself, can he? Always the good man, even if it nearly gets his head lopped off by the Red Nemisis. Jack and Lizzie may have come to terms, but I'm not so sure Will is entirely comfortable with Uncle Jack about. Timely that he showed up just in the nick of time for Lizzie. (Letters of Marque...hmmm, chilling.) Santa Jack! Wouldn't mind him showing up on my hearth!

A fun rollick, as always. We need a little more of the light-hearted, especially with the weight of the holidays hanging on all of us!

Bravo! Encore! I could only wish for something so grand in my stocking!

May all your days be merry and bright!.............Kerry

Ha! You like the sword? I had fun putting that together. I need to email you this thing I made for one of the guys at work -- stuck him in a Santa suit, with a rubber chicken in his hand. Photoshop is so much fun!

I'm very happy you liked Jack here. He and Lizzie are always fun to write, but Will is too, really -- he's a little more dramatic, but he has a sense of humor. Three great characters, for sure.

Thank you for the detailed review. I really appreciate it. I have so much reading to catch up on -- one of these days soon I'll be returning the favor!

28 fruitcakes? We need to talk!

LOL!! We used to have a mail order business selling them, and would make them 3 or 4 hundred at a time -- we rented time from a bakery. 28 is nothin'!

I'm giving each of about 40 co-workers a half a cake. They really like them. It's a different sort of cake, only dried fruit and nuts, and barely enough vanilla flavored batter to hold it together.

Aw! Sweet, bittersweet, and then sweet again to finish. I do like a bit of post CotBP now and again - like a holiday in the sun after post-AWE angst.

Love the way you write all three of them, but especially impressed by your knack for tripping Jack into revealing his weakness while still keeping him in character.

I very much agree, and particularly at this time of year. ;)

Re: Jack - The chinks in his armor, and his ability to bounce back and move on, are what make him such a great character. We can all relate to that so easily, I think.

So happy you enjoyed the story! Thank you for letting me know!
