So sweet and gracious; goes well with your other tales in this verse.
Leaves me melancholy for POTC as I saw it pre-DMC.
Ah well, thanks for returning us to the Old Ways, even briefly.

I'm very happy you liked it!

Leaves me melancholy for POTC as I saw it pre-DMC.

With the DMC story and relationships having so many loose ends, sometimes it's just more satisfying to go back to writing in this universe.

Thank you for reading and commenting, and have a wonderful holiday.

Aww! This is charming and sweet, and just what I needed after a long day of battling the holiday crowds. Thank you so much!

So glad you enjoyed it! I had a lot of fun writing it. Nothing like fluff for the holidays. *G*

This is such an enjoyable piece! So loving of Jack to find a way to cheer Elizabeth up at Christmastime, and the Whitbys are great OCs. (From Yorkshire, they must be!)

I think if Jack were to admit to loving, he'd be a very thoughtful partner -- particularly as it benefits him to keep her happy.

the Whitbys are great OCs. (From Yorkshire, they must be!)

It's funny how these OC's just appear. Must be Disney Magic. I could just hear them, plain as day.

I'm very glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks again for organizing this.

I've been on a recent Pirates of Penzance hook the past week after seeing an amazing performance, so immediately when I saw Elizabeth mentioned as a Pirate Queen, I broke out in chorus of "I Am A Pirate King", performed by Captain Sparrow, of course.

Sigh, I've always loved this J/E universe you've been writing!

The Pirate King was probably stuck in my mind, too -- I've seen the play several times, and have the Kevin Kline/Linda Ronstadt soundtrack, but that song is also one of those on the extra CD that came with my copy of DMC, so I've been listening to it recently. Great music. Cannot help but influence one's happy piratey thoughts.

I am so happy you enjoyed the story! Thank you for letting me know. Happy Holidays!
