:::Sings 'Tomorrow Shall be my Dancing Day:::

Thank you for the nostolgia...god, I sang that my last year of Choir...although the Sopranos sang all the good parts and the rest of us just sang, 'Oh my, oh my, oh my love. This I have done for my true love'

Other than that, bravo. I would like to make a Hannukah story, but alas, no one would be Jewish.

Oh, I am totally getting plot bunnies. There could be Jewish OC's, you know...

We didn't sing Dancing Day when I was in choir (six years!), but it is now one of my favorite Christmas songs. The version by the Cambridge Singers is my favorite. I'm so glad the song brought back happy memories for you! Thank you for reading and commenting. :)

So lovely to come back from a carol service to this! Simply gorgeous through and through, your OCs are engaging and believable as always, and I giggled aloud at several points, particularly this:

"The darlin' would've been disappointed if I hadn't," he pointed out, with simple confidence in his irresistibility.

Too true!

I've no doubt Jack is fully aware of his good looks, and uses them to good effect at every opportunity. *G*

I'm glad you enjoyed this bit of Christmas fluff -- I had lots of fun writing it too! Thank you for commenting, and have a wonderful holiday!

Very sweet, and a charming quiet break. Poor Elizabeth with a cold, but I imagine this cheers her up tremendously.

I do enjoy writing J/E, but DMC has so many loose ends that I wanted to return to this older, now rather A/U scenario for a Christmas story. I'm so happy you enjoyed it! Thank you for letting me know.

Happy Holidays!

As you know, I'm not a big Jack/Elizabeth shipper, but you have always done them great justice and you never leave a lose end in the past relationships. I love it!
