I think McCain may have just shot himself in the foot for the reasons you mentioned, but I'm just worried that there are more idiots out there who will vote for McCain now just because of the possibility of a female VP. Also, the fact that someone with basically zero executive experience (she was mayor of town of 5000 for a couple years, big woop!) is a heartbeat, or a lack therof, away from the presidency is terrifying.

It just blows me away that there are so many people out there who actually think 4 more years of the same old shit is what we need right now.
