Even though the photos in the Prophet were soundless, they’d all heard Minister Fawcett spouting his standard bleat of faux humility far too often: “For I am ordinary, unimportant-”
Severus slammed doors and ranted about the triumph of mediocrity over merit yet again.
Tonks deliberately changed her hair into a vicious green mohawk and lengthened her nails to match.
Severus glared at her, and then burst out laughing in spite of himself.
Remus wordlessly continued tearing the paper into neat, tiny squares.
“Merlin, Remus, just bin it already!” Tonks ordered.
Disregarding her, Remus stacked the squares into a squat tower.
